Spread across 8.1 acres, Maple Park is popular among local families for soccer in Hesperia. The spacious soccer fields host everything from casual kickarounds to organized AYSO youth leagues throughout the season.

Beyond organized sports, there's plenty of grassy space to toss a frisbee, have a picnic, or just let the kids burn off some energy. Just a heads up - you might encounter a few patchy areas on the field that could use a little TLC.

What You'll Find Here

While soccer is definitely the main attraction, Maple Park covers the basics for a day out. Instead of permanent facilities, you can find portable restrooms - not the most glamorous solution, but they get the job done.

If you're catching a game during soccer season, the snack shack opens up to save you from hunger pangs and thirsty moments. There's also a water fountain available when you need a quick hydration break.

The parking lot is reasonably sized with designated handicap spaces, and usually accommodates the crowds even on busy game days. Just be careful when pulling out of your spot - visibility can be tricky when the lot fills up.

Weather & Grounds

Like the rest of Hesperia, the park enjoys that classic desert climate - think sunshine and mild temperatures through most of the year. This makes it a pretty reliable destination regardless of the season.

The grounds are generally kept clean and well-maintained, but sometimes the sprinklers seem to work a bit too enthusiastically, leaving some areas slightly soggy.

Good to Know

Despite what you might assume about a public park, dogs aren't allowed here - there are signs posted to remind everyone.

The park welcomes visitors from 7AM until 8:30PM every day of the week. Field lighting is available for evening practices and games, however occasionally there have been hiccups with lights turning off unexpectedly during activities.
