A Walk Through History

Situated in Louisville, Kentucky, Victory Park spans 4 acres of community greenspace with roots reaching back to 1919. Originally known as Greenwood Park, it was renamed to honor those who served in World War I - a fitting tribute that stands to this day. The park holds a special place in the hearts of residents in the historically Black California neighborhood, who come together annually to celebrate Victory Park Day with pride and community spirit.

Olmsted's Touch

The renovation brought modern amenities including a brand-new playground, an upgraded basketball court, and a splash pad where kids can cool off during those hot Kentucky summers. These updates have significantly improved what the park offers to visitors.
