The updated equipment offers plenty of opportunities for kids to climb, slide, and engage in imaginative play. That said, swing-lovers might be a bit disappointed - several parkgoers have mentioned that adding some swings would make the playground even better.

Packing a lunch? Menlo Park features several picnic shelters complete with tables where you can enjoy an outdoor meal. The main shelter measures 20'x20' and is wheelchair accessible, but you'll need to bring your own power source as there aren't any electrical outlets available.

These shelters provide perfect spots for family gatherings, casual meetups with friends, or simply enjoying a sandwich in the shade.

Good to Know

The City of Sioux Falls does a solid job maintaining the grounds - something that hasn't gone unnoticed by regular visitors who frequently comment on how clean the park stays, restroom facilities included.

Note that you'll need to leave the beer and wine at home, as alcohol isn't allowed in the park. Dog owners are welcome to bring their four-legged friends along, just remember to clean up afterward.

You can enjoy Menlo Park daily between 5 AM and 10 PM, giving you plenty of time to fit in a visit, whether you're an early bird or prefer evening outings.
