Baumhauer-Randle Park

Baumhaer-Randle Park, formerly known as Duval Park, is located on Duval Street in Mobile, Alabama. This public recreational area serves as a community gathering space and offers various facilities for outdoor activities.

The park features walking trails that wind through the grounds, providing visitors with opportunities for exercise and leisurely strolls. Picnic areas are available for those who wish to enjoy meals or snacks in the open air. The park's landscape includes lush greenery, creating a tranquil setting for relaxation and recreation.

One of the park's notable features is its baseball field, known as Baumhauer Baseball Field. Additionally, the park contains a football/combo field, expanding the options for sports enthusiasts.

In June 2024, the City of Mobile opened a new splash pad at Baumhaer-Randle Park. This addition has a unique baseball theme, reflecting the park's sporting heritage. The splash pad project also included much-needed drainage improvements in the area, enhancing the overall functionality of the park.

The splash pad operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering a refreshing recreational option for visitors, especially during warmer months.
