Connors Bog Park

Connors Bog Park is a diverse natural area nestled between residential neighborhoods and the Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. The park features a variety of habitats, including low shrub bogs, woodlands, and Connors Lake, which serves as its prominent centerpiece. This ecological diversity creates an ideal environment for wildlife, attracting numerous species of birds, small mammals, and moose.

The park is particularly known for its extensive trail system, offering miles of unpaved paths that wind through the forest, around the lake, and across the low shrub landscape. Birdwatchers can observe a variety of species, from common mallards to the less frequent Pacific loon. The park even features an island in Connors Lake equipped with a web camera to monitor Pacific loon nesting activities.
