This area features multiple themed play zones based on Chandler's heritage, including Farm Land, City Land, and Critter Land. A large red barn canopy covers much of the play area, providing shade during hot Arizona days.

Tumbleweed Park also houses the Tumbleweed Recreation Center, a 62,000-square-foot facility designed to promote physical activity and community engagement. The center offers a wide range of classes, activities, and events for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. It includes a fitness center, indoor basketball court, walking track, and various studios for exercise and dance classes.

For sports enthusiasts, the park features multiple soccer and football fields, as well as the Chandler Tennis Center. This 3,000-square-foot facility boasts 15 lighted courts and offers various programs, including lessons, leagues, and tournaments for players of all skill levels.

Tumbleweed Ranch, operated by the Chandler Museum, occupies 14 acres of the park and serves as an educational resource on the area's agricultural history.
