Foothills Park is a 29-acre recreational area located in the northern part of Glendale, Arizona, off 57th Avenue and Union Hills Drive. The park offers a wide range of facilities and amenities for visitors of all ages, making it a popular destination for local residents and families.
The park is dissected by Skunk Creek Linear Park, which adds a natural element to the urban setting. Foothills Park features multiple sports fields, including three multipurpose fields suitable for soccer, softball, football, baseball, and lacrosse. These fields cater to both youth and adult sports activities, providing ample space for organized games and casual play.
For skateboarding enthusiasts, Foothills Park includes a skate park that has become a draw for visitors. The park also boasts a large playground area for children, offering a safe and fun environment for younger visitors. Multiple picnic tables and ramadas are spread throughout the park, providing shaded areas for picnics and gatherings.
Dog owners can enjoy the dedicated dog park within Foothills Park, allowing pets to socialize and exercise in a controlled environment.
