Northern Horizon Park

Northern Horizon Park is a picturesque city park located in Glendale, Arizona, offering a serene escape from urban life. Spanning 14.3 acres, this expansive green space provides ample room for various recreational activities and relaxation.

The park features well-maintained walking trails that wind through beautifully landscaped areas, making it an ideal destination for leisurely strolls, jogging, or hiking. With over 200 trees dotting the landscape, visitors can find plenty of shady spots to relax or have a picnic.

A notable feature of Northern Horizon Park is its dog-friendly facilities. The park boasts Glendale's largest dog park, which includes a large fenced-in play area for all dogs and a separate section specifically designed for smaller or more timid dogs. This allows pets to socialize and exercise safely off-leash.

For families with children, the park offers a public safety-themed playground area that provides hours of fun and mental stimulation. This unique playground design adds an educational element to the recreational experience.

Northern Horizon Park is designed with community gatherings in mind. It features three covered ramadas that can be used for birthday parties, family get-togethers, or other social events.

The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, except for Mondays when the dog park area is closed for maintenance.
