Fitch Park

Fitch Park is a multi-purpose recreational facility located in Mesa, Arizona. The park spans a significant area and serves as both a public park and a baseball complex. It is perhaps best known for its connection to Major League Baseball, as it functions as the spring training workout facility for the Oakland Athletics.

The park's baseball facilities include four fields, with the main field featuring dimensions of 350 feet to left and right field, and 400 feet to center field. Each field is equipped with an electronic scoreboard, enhancing the experience for players and spectators alike. The complex also houses batting cages, bullpens, and a practice infield, providing comprehensive training options for baseball teams.

In 2014, Fitch Park underwent significant renovations and expansions. The training facility, renamed the Lew Wolff Training Complex, was expanded to 55,433 square feet. The renovations included remodeling of both the exterior and interior to reflect the Oakland Athletics' green and gold color scheme. The playing fields, pitcher's mounds, and batting cages were also improved to meet the team's specific needs.

Beyond its professional baseball facilities, Fitch Park offers amenities for public use. The park features traditional city park elements on its eastern side, providing recreational opportunities for local residents and visitors. The park is open from sunrise to 10 PM, allowing for extended use throughout the day.
