About Reed Park in Mesa
Reed Park is a neighborhood park located in Mesa, Arizona. The park spans approximately 25,000 square feet and serves as a community gathering space for local residents. Situated along Broadway Road, Reed Park is easily accessible and provides a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages.
One of the park's notable features is its skate park, which consists of two distinct bowls. The first is a small, tight capsule with a spine in the center, while the second is a larger bowl ranging from 5 to 6 feet deep. This expansive bowl is particularly popular among BMX riders due to its ample flatbottom area, which allows for building up speed before launching.
Reed Park is currently undergoing enhancements as part of a city project scheduled from Spring 2025 to Fall 2025. These improvements include playground enhancements and the addition of shade structures, which aim to replace aging equipment and further activate the park space.
The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, providing ample time for community members to enjoy its facilities. As a public space, Reed Park is maintained by the City of Mesa and offers free access to all visitors.
