Meriwether Park is a neighborhood park in Little Rock, Arkansas. The park spans 10 acres and was originally developed in 1973-1974 on land acquired in 1967. Initially called "Hall Cove Park," it was renamed in honor of former Little Rock City Manager, John T. Meriwether.
Situated within a residential subdivision in the western part of the city, Meriwether Park offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors. The park features both outdoor and indoor amenities, making it suitable for various activities throughout the year.
One of the park's notable features is its pickleball courts. Meriwether Park has two outdoor pickleball courts, which are converted from tennis courts. These courts have a permanent, hard surface and are equipped with lighting, allowing for nighttime play.
