Pettaway Park

Pettaway Park is a community park located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The park is part of the Pettaway neighborhood, which lies east of Main Street in downtown Little Rock. The park has played a significant role in the community's history and development.

In May 1992, Pettaway residents rallied together to address various neighborhood issues, including an increase in gang activities, drug problems, blighted lots, and a decline in home ownership. As part of their efforts to improve the area, they focused on transforming the park into a safer and more family-friendly space.

The park serves as a gathering place for local residents and offers outdoor recreational opportunities. It is maintained by the City of Little Rock Parks and Recreation department, which oversees various parks and green spaces throughout the city.
