Greg Cox Bike Park

Greg Cox Bike Park, located in Chula Vista, California, is a 3.2-acre facility designed to cater to cyclists of various skill levels. Opened on April 28, 2021, the park is managed by the city of Chula Vista but was constructed by the County of San Diego.

The bike park is named after Greg Cox, who served as the district's County supervisor for 25 years and as Chula Vista's mayor for nine years. It is part of the Otay Valley Regional Park and represents a collaborative effort among three jurisdictions.

Built with the aim of promoting exercise and recreation for riders of all ages, Greg Cox Bike Park offers free access to users. The park features a variety of trails and special features to accommodate different skill levels, from beginners to more advanced riders.

One of the park's notable features is what county officials claim to be California's largest modular pump track. This bicycle course consists of rollers, banked turns, and other features that allow bikers to ride without pedaling, providing a unique and engaging experience for visitors.
