Te Winkle Park

TeWinkle Park is a 49-acre recreational area located in Costa Mesa, California. The park was officially dedicated on January 31, 1965, and is named after Charles TeWinkle, who served as the first mayor of Costa Mesa when it was incorporated in 1953.

The park features a picturesque lake with a waterfall, which serves as a habitat for various waterfowl, including ducks and geese. Visitors can often observe these birds swimming in the lake or wandering around the grassy areas. The park also includes walking paths that meander through the grounds, offering opportunities for leisurely strolls or more vigorous exercise.

One of the park's prominent features is Angels Playground, a modern play area designed for children. The playground is equipped with various structures and is set on a rubber surface for safety.
