Garden Grove Park

Garden Grove Park is a 36-acre public park located in Garden Grove, California. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities and open spaces for visitors to enjoy.

Originally part of the Haster Farm Airfield in the 1940s and 50s, the land was purchased by the City of Garden Grove in the late 1950s and developed into a park. This history is reflected in the hexagonal shape of some areas, reminiscent of the former airfield's landing mat.

The park features multiple sports facilities, including softball fields, basketball courts, and areas for football and soccer. For skateboarding enthusiasts, there is a dedicated skate park within the grounds.

Families with children can take advantage of the playground equipment, which includes an airplane-themed play structure that pays homage to the park's aviation history. There is also an exercise equipment area for adults looking to stay active.

For gatherings and events, Garden Grove Park offers picnic facilities, including a pavilion with electricity and several picnic shelters. The park is equipped with restroom facilities and parking lots, as well as sports and security lighting for evening activities.
