The park is home to the Murdy Community Center, which provides various recreation opportunities and organizes several special events throughout the year. The center consists of four meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a studio, all of which are available for rent.
Murdy Park features a diverse array of sports facilities, including four lighted tennis courts, two lighted softball fields, and four lighted basketball courts. The park also boasts four synthetic bocce courts and a skate park, which holds the distinction of being the first skating facility ever built in Orange County.
For families with children, the park offers a jungle gym and playground equipment, including baby bucket swings, kid swings, monkey bars, and a fireman's pole. The playground area is set in sand, providing a safe surface for play.
