Dimond Park

Dimond Park is a 14-acre urban oasis located in the heart of Oakland's Dimond District. Established in 1917, the park is named after Hugh Dimond, an early settler who acquired the land in the 1860s. Situated at the base of Dimond Canyon, the park offers a blend of natural beauty and recreational facilities.

The park features Sausal Creek, which runs through its grounds, providing a picturesque setting and opportunities for nature exploration. Hiking trails lead from the park up into Dimond Canyon, connecting to a larger network of trails in the Oakland hills.
