Hermosa Park

Hermosa Park is a 9-acre community park located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities and open spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The park features two playgrounds catering to different age groups. There is a larger playground with more complex equipment for older children, including a long tunnel, rope wall, rock climbing wall, and various jungle gym elements. A smaller playground is available for younger children, equipped with slides, a step ladder, bridge, tunnel, and spring riders.

One of the park's main attractions is its baseball field, which is suitable for younger age groups as it lacks outfield fencing. Each dugout is equipped with a bench, though there is no shade cover. Trees surrounding the field provide some shade for players and spectators.

Hermosa Park includes a large grassy area in the southern part of the park, often used for soccer games and other activities like football and frisbee. A 0.38-mile sidewalk encircles the entire park, connecting all its features and providing a convenient walking path for visitors.

The park also incorporates an exercise trail with various equipment stations along the sidewalks, including monkey bars, a balance bar, and other fitness-oriented installations. This feature adds to the park's appeal for those looking to incorporate exercise into their visit.

Convenience is a priority at Hermosa Park, with public restrooms available in the center of the park. The park offers ample parking, with 43 regular spots and 2 handicapped spots in the main lot off Hamilton Street. Additional parking is available at the adjacent Deer Canyon Elementary School and on Hamilton Street.

Hermosa Park is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM, providing residents with a spacious and well-equipped outdoor space for recreation, exercise, and relaxation.
