Gilman Playground

In 2016, Gilman Playground underwent significant improvements as part of a renovation project funded by the 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond. The project focused on enhancing the children's play area and improving accessibility to the park's facilities.

The playground features new play equipment designed to encourage graduated play through linked composite structures and a net climber. The underlying rubber surface depicts a shoreline setting, referencing the park's historical proximity to the San Francisco Bay. New trees were also planted as part of the renovation, adding to the park's greenery.
