George Sterling Park

Named after George Sterling, a prominent San Francisco poet of the early 20th century, the park was dedicated in 1928 as "George Sterling Glade" and later rededicated as George Sterling Park in 2005. Sterling was known for his romantic depictions of San Francisco, famously calling it "the cool, grey city of love."

Situated atop Russian Hill, the park provides breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco Bay.
