Russell Park

Russell Park is a nearly two-acre public space located in the southwest side of Santa Maria, California. The park underwent a significant renovation that was completed in late 2020, transforming it into a modern and functional community space.

The park's renovation, which took approximately one year to complete, focused on improving existing facilities and adding new amenities to enhance the visitor experience. The makeover was funded through a grant, demonstrating the city's commitment to maintaining and upgrading its public spaces.

Russell Park features numerous barbecue pits and picnic tables, making it an ideal location for community gatherings and Santa Maria-style barbecues. The park's layout and facilities cater to various recreational activities and provide a pleasant outdoor environment for local residents.
