About Play-4-All Park in Vacaville
Play 4 All Park is a newly opened inclusive playground located at 815 Elmira Road in Vacaville, California. The park, which began welcoming visitors in late 2022, is designed to accommodate children of all ages and abilities. This community-driven project was the result of 10 years of planning and fundraising efforts.
The park's design focuses on accessibility and inclusivity, featuring equipment that is safe and enjoyable for children who use wheelchairs, walkers, or have special needs. The playground was constructed by Landscape Structures, a Minnesota-based company, and was conceived and designed by Play 4 All's President, Tom Phillippi of Phillippi Engineering.
Play 4 All Park is being developed in two phases. The first phase, which is currently open to the public, includes the main playground area. The second phase, scheduled for completion later in 2023, will expand the park's offerings with additional features and amenities.
The park operates from one hour after sunrise to one hour before sunset. It's important to note that park facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and picnic pavilions cannot be reserved in advance. For any maintenance or operational issues, visitors can contact the city parks department.
