Friendship Park

Friendship Park is a community park located in West Covina, California. Spanning 5.4 acres, this tranquil oasis offers a serene ambiance in the heart of the city, making it an ideal destination for walkers, runners, and families seeking outdoor recreation.

In 2022, Friendship Park received a significant upgrade through a project funded by federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The improvements, which had a budget of $997,955.50, were recognized with the "Best Projects of the Year Award" from the American Public Works Association (APWA) under the Recreational & Athletics Facilities category for populations between 100,000 to 200,000.

The park offers a variety of recreational activities suitable for visitors of all ages. Friendship Park also features dog-friendly trails, making it a popular spot for pet owners. While dogs are welcome, they must be kept on leash as there is no fully fenced off-leash area.
