About Bellewood Park in Aurora

Bellewood Park is a small community park located in Aurora, Colorado. Spanning 2.2 acres, this suburban green space is nestled in the Rocky Mountain foothills, offering residents a convenient outdoor retreat. The park is situated in the Bellewood Circle area, providing easy access for nearby neighborhoods.

As part of Aurora's park system, Bellewood Park operates under the city's standard park hours, which are from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The park's compact size makes it an ideal spot for casual recreation and relaxation within a residential setting.

In 2024, Bellewood Park was selected as one of 12 project sites for renovation under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding approved by the Aurora City Council. The renovation project, set to begin near the end of 2024 or early 2025, aims to replace the aged playground with a new, accessible one. The upgraded playground will cater to children aged 2-12 years old, enhancing the park's appeal to families in the area.
