Kingsborough Park

Kingsborough Park is a suburban park located in Aurora, Colorado. The park is currently undergoing renovation to enhance its facilities and accessibility. The planned improvements include a new playground with accessible surfacing, designed to accommodate children aged 2 to 12 years old.

To improve accessibility, the park renovation will feature new concrete ADA-compliant walkways, ensuring that all visitors can navigate the park with ease. A new shelter is also part of the renovation plans, providing visitors with a shaded area for gatherings or respite from the sun.

The park is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., following the standard hours for Aurora city parks. Visitors are reminded to be considerate of park neighbors and other users, especially regarding noise levels. The city code limits residential sound levels to 55 decibels during the day and 45 decibels after 9 p.m.

Kingsborough Park, like other Aurora parks, adheres to city regulations regarding pet control, wildlife interaction, and fire safety. Pets must be leashed and under control, except in designated dog park areas. Feeding wildlife, including geese, is prohibited to protect the animals' well-being. Fires are only permitted in designated grills and personal grills, which can be used on dirt, concrete, or asphalt areas, but not on grass.
