Cherry Knolls Park

Cherry Knolls Park is a 23-acre public green space located in Centennial, Colorado. Situated along the Big Dry Creek Trail, the park offers visitors a blend of natural beauty and recreational facilities.

The park features expansive grassy areas and is traversed by Big Dry Creek, providing a picturesque setting for outdoor activities. A large grassy hill near the parking lot serves as a popular spot for sledding during winter months.

Cherry Knolls Park is designed to accommodate various recreational needs. The park includes multiple sports fields, catering to different activities and age groups. It also offers a playground area with equipment suitable for children of various ages.

As part of ongoing improvements, South Suburban Parks and Recreation has plans to upgrade the park's facilities. These enhancements include renovating the existing playground area and restroom, as well as converting sections of the Big Dry Creek Trail from crusher fines to concrete for a more consistent trail surface throughout the park.

The park's location along the Big Dry Creek Trail makes it an ideal spot for walking, jogging, or cycling. Visitors can follow the trail south across Easter Avenue to discover a small fishing pond, adding to the park's recreational offerings.
