Spring Canyon Park

Spring Canyon Park is a 100-acre community park located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Situated at the west end of Horsetooth Road between Tafthill Road and Overland Trail Road, it offers a diverse range of recreational facilities and natural areas for visitors to enjoy.

The park, which opened in 2007 after 20 months of construction, is the second largest in Fort Collins. It features Colorado's first universally accessible playground, known as Inspiration Playground, designed to accommodate children with disabilities. This innovative play area includes touch sensor-activated water features, providing an inclusive and interactive experience for all visitors.

Spring Canyon Park boasts a variety of sports facilities, including lighted tennis and basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, and a post-tension inline hockey rink. For skateboarding enthusiasts, there is a dedicated skate park. The park also includes multiple picnic shelters, including a reservable Creek-side Combo Shelter, offering spaces for gatherings and events.

One of the park's unique features is its 2+ acre dog park, complete with a lake where dogs can swim and play. For cycling enthusiasts, there is a mountain biking course that provides endless fun and challenges. The park's layout also allows easy access to the Spring Creek Trail, connecting visitors to a broader network of outdoor spaces.
