Island Grove Regional Park

Island Grove Regional Park is a historic 145-acre multi-use events complex located in Greeley, Colorado. Established in the late 1860s, it is one of the oldest parks in the state. The park borders the Cache la Poudre River and features spacious lawns with trees planted as far back as 1869, creating a picturesque setting.

The park serves as a versatile venue for various events and activities throughout the year. It hosts several large-scale annual events, including the Greeley Stampede, Weld County Fair, and Greeley Blues Jam. The park's facilities can accommodate exhibitions, conferences, sporting competitions, livestock shows, and concerts.

Island Grove Regional Park includes multiple buildings and outdoor spaces designed for different purposes. The Events Center offers over 60,000 square feet of unobstructed floor space, while the Exhibition Building is suited for mid-sized events. The park also features an open-air arena and grandstand facility that can seat up to 15,000 people for concerts and rodeos.

For families and children, the park includes Aven's Village, a farm-themed inclusive playground designed to welcome individuals of all ages and abilities. This playground features custom elements such as concrete-sculpted chickens, farm-themed activity panels, and various play structures.

The park's western edge along the Poudre River includes the Greeley Saddle Club Center, which is well-suited for equine events and includes two arenas, bleacher seating, and RV hookups. Island Grove Regional Park also connects to the Poudre River Trail, offering additional recreational opportunities for visitors.
