Aspen Park is a public recreational area located in Thornton, Colorado. This half-acre park features a variety of amenities for local residents and visitors to enjoy. The park's centerpiece is its playground, which provides a space for children to play and exercise.

One of the park's notable features is its half basketball court. The court was originally damaged by the roots of nearby cottonwood trees, causing cracks in the surface. To address this issue, the court was relocated within the park to ensure better longevity and playability.

The park operates with set hours, opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 10:00 PM on weekdays. On weekends, the park extends its hours slightly, remaining open until 11:00 PM to accommodate increased leisure time.

Aspen Park offers a blend of recreational and relaxation spaces. In addition to its active play areas, the park includes seating areas where visitors can rest and enjoy the outdoor environment. A covered area with a charcoal grill is available, providing opportunities for picnics and small gatherings.
