Rubicond Park

Rubicond Park is a public green space located in Cape Coral, Florida. The park is centered around a large pond or small lake, providing a scenic focal point for visitors. A paved walking trail loops around the water, offering an opportunity for exercise and leisurely strolls.

The park serves as the home of the Cape Coral Art Center, which has been a community resource for artists since 1977. The Art Center offers year-round classes in fine arts and crafts for residents and guests of all ages and skill levels. It features over 15,000 square feet of well-equipped studios, an art supply store, a gift shop, and art galleries.

In 2022, Rubicond Park underwent improvements as part of a master plan. The project, known as the June Bennett Pathway to Creativity, added features such as a paver pathway and patio, sculpture pads, benches, interactive elements, and lighting. The park now includes more than 30 native and ornamental plants, creating an inspirational area for art students and visitors alike.

The park is designed to be a natural oasis where artists can seek inspiration for their craft and build community. It provides a blend of artistic and natural elements, making it a unique space within Cape Coral's park system.
