Lions Park

Lions Park, located on Riverside Drive in Coral Springs, Florida, is a 7.6-acre community park that holds the distinction of being the city's first official park. Dedicated on June 6, 1970, the park is named in honor of the Coral Springs Lions Club, recognizing their contribution to the community.

The park played a significant role in the early development of Coral Springs, serving as the home of the city's first little league. In its early days, the park was a focal point for community gatherings, with weekly barbecues sponsored by Coral Ridge Properties, alongside baseball games and other activities.

Lions Park operates with specific hours, closing at 10 p.m. on regular days, with lighting shut off at 10:15 p.m. On holidays, the park closes at sunset, ensuring a balance between community use and neighborhood tranquility.
