Lake Stevens Park

Lake Stevens Park is a 12-acre public recreational area located in Miami Gardens, Florida. The park features an ADA-accessible children's playground designed for children aged 2-12, offering a variety of challenging play activities.

In January 2022, Miami-Dade County officials broke ground on new enhancements for the park. These improvements include the construction of a 1,885 square foot splash pad with an exterior shower and associated water play structure. Additionally, a 1,562 square foot restroom building is being added, complete with a breezeway, storage room, custodial room, family restroom, and pump equipment room.

The park's upgrades also encompass lighted walkways, a 25-space parking lot equipped with three electric vehicle charging stations, a picnic shelter, and a multipurpose sodded mound. To enhance visitor comfort and convenience, the park will feature picnic tables, benches, recycling receptacles, a bike rack, a bottle filler/drinking fountain, and irrigated landscaping.

Lake Stevens Park provides a serene and picturesque environment that is ideal for walkers and hikers. The park's design and amenities aim to bring children and families from nearby neighborhoods together, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle while fostering a greater appreciation for the outdoors.
