About Athalie Range Park in Miami
Athalie Range Park is a public recreational space located in Miami, Florida. The park is named after M. Athalie Range, a trailblazing Bahamian American civil rights activist who was the first Black person to serve on the Miami City Commission.

A new community center is being developed at Athalie Range Park to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of age groups. The building will include a multi-purpose room with a 160-person seating capacity, a fitness room, a computer lab, and several homework rooms. Adjacent to the new building, a plaza space is being designed with seating, exterior lighting, and landscaping to enhance outdoor activities such as community gatherings, evening movies, sports watching, performances, and leisure.
The park's hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The park's aquatic facility operates seasonally, typically resuming operations in the summer months.
