Cherry Grove Park

Cherry Grove Park is a public recreational area located in Miami, Florida. The park is situated in the Kendall neighborhood, offering residents and visitors a serene outdoor space in the heart of the city.

The park is open from sunrise to sunset, providing ample time for visitors to enjoy its facilities throughout the day. Cherry Grove Park features a playground area, which is currently undergoing improvements. As of 2024, plans were in place for a new nature-based playground design, emphasizing native trees and plants to immerse families and children in a uniquely South Florida natural environment.

One of the notable features of the planned playground design is the use of native oolite stone for retaining walls. These walls are designed to evoke natural rock ridges found in the South Florida landscape and will serve dual purposes as seating and play elements.

Cherry Grove Park offers a peaceful retreat for visitors to enjoy nature and engage in various outdoor activities. Its central location in Kendall provides easy access to major expressways and shops, making it a convenient destination for both nearby residents and those coming from other parts of Miami.
