Pembroke Pines Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a public park located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, situated next to the Charles F. Dodge City Center. The park serves as a space for remembrance and recreation, featuring memorials alongside recreational facilities.

A key feature of Memorial Park is its 9/11 Memorial, which incorporates a steel girder salvaged from the World Trade Center after the September 11, 2001 attacks. This memorial, along with sculptures by local artists, pays tribute to the victims and heroes of that tragic day. The park also includes a Veterans Memorial, anchored by a 15-foot black granite obelisk bearing the seals of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines.
