The area for older children aged 5-12 boasts a larger structure with more advanced features. It includes a tall slide, curly climber, climbing ropes, and a wobbly bridge to promote imaginative play. This section also features popular spinning activities like the Supernova and tipi carousel, as well as a Starsurfer for balance and coordination practice.

Beyond the playground, Charles E. Ray Park offers various sports facilities for community use. These include a covered basketball court with retractable goals, tennis courts, and a sand volleyball court, providing opportunities for diverse athletic activities.

The park's amenities and recent upgrades align with the City of Port St. Lucie's strategic goal of bringing culture, nature, and fun activities to the community.
