Opened on July 6, 2020, the St. Pete Pier is the latest iteration of a pier that has been a significant feature of St. Petersburg's waterfront for over a century. The current pier is the result of a $92 million redevelopment project, replacing the previous inverted pyramid structure that was closed in 2013.
