Lake Talquin State Park is located on the southern shore of Lake Talquin, approximately 15 miles west of Tallahassee, Florida. The park encompasses 382 acres of land, featuring high bluffs that overlook the 10,000-acre reservoir created by the damming of the Ochlockonee River.

A 1.2-mile interpretive trail winds through the upland forest, providing opportunities to observe local flora and fauna. The trail leads to a scenic overlook, offering panoramic views of Lake Talquin and its surrounding landscape.
