John G Riley Park

John G. Riley Park is a 4.8-acre public park located in Tallahassee, Florida. The park is situated across from John G. Riley Elementary School. It was established in 1985 after the Howell Wadsworth family donated the land to the City of Tallahassee for use as a park.

The park features nature trails that wind through the grounds, allowing visitors to explore the local flora and fauna. Educational foliage identification signs are placed along the trails to help visitors learn about the various plant species in the area.

John G. Riley Park also includes picnic facilities, providing a pleasant outdoor space for families and groups to gather and enjoy meals amidst nature. A drinking fountain is available for visitor convenience.

The park serves as an important community asset, particularly for residents who may not be able to easily travel to other parks in the city. Since its opening, it has undergone several improvements to enhance its amenities and educational value.
