Dyer Park

Dyer Park is a 560-acre regional park located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opened in 1986, the park was developed on a former landfill site, which has been transformed into a diverse recreational area. The park's most distinctive feature is a 55-foot hill, uncommon in the typically flat South Florida landscape, which offers visitors unique elevation changes for various activities.

The park provides a range of outdoor recreational opportunities for visitors. It features extensive trail systems, including a 4.12-mile paved bicycle path, a 3.2-mile mountain bike trail, and a 3.4-mile equestrian trail. These trails wind around and over the park's signature hill, providing challenging terrain for cyclists and hikers.

Dyer Park also caters to sports enthusiasts with its multiple athletic fields. The park includes baseball and softball fields, as well as multipurpose fields that can be used for soccer and football. For basketball players, there are several courts available.

Families can enjoy the children's playground area, and there are numerous picnic areas with grills scattered throughout the park. For larger gatherings, group pavilions are available. The park also features a 55-acre fishing lake stocked with bass and catfish, offering opportunities for anglers.

Dyer Park is open from sunrise to sunset, with lighted court facilities remaining open until 9:00 PM and lighted athletic fields (which require a permit) open until 10:00 PM.
