About Settlers Park in Meridian
Settlers Park is a sprawling 58-acre regional park located at the intersection of Meridian and Ustick Roads in Meridian, Idaho. Developed in phases between 2003 and 2014, this expansive green space offers a wide array of recreational facilities and amenities for visitors of all ages.
The park features multiple athletic fields, including six reservable multi-use fields and eight youth baseball/softball fields. Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy seven full-sized tennis courts, while pickleball players have access to several dedicated courts. For those seeking more casual activities, the park offers horseshoe pits, cornhole courts, and a seasonal 9-hole disc golf course.
One of the park's highlights is its Adventure Island Playground Area, which includes Idaho's first universally accessible playground. This area also boasts a pirate-themed splash pad, operational from Memorial Day through Labor Day, providing a refreshing escape during warm summer months.
Settlers Park caters to diverse interests with its fishing pond, open play areas, and an extensive network of pathways ideal for walking, jogging, or biking. The park also features three picnic shelters of varying sizes, which can be reserved for gatherings and events.
