New Haven Park

New Haven Park Forest Preserve in Aurora, Illinois, is a well-maintained neighborhood park that spans a total of 18 acres. Acquired in 2008 through a partnership between the Fox Valley Park District and the Kane County Forest Preserve District, the park serves as a hub for recreational activities amidst a residential area on Aurora's west side.

The park offers a serene natural setting with ponds surrounded by naturalized plantings, encircled by a multi-purpose trail that is ideal for walking and jogging. This relatively short trail spans 0.83 miles and provides picturesque views of the ponds and surrounding greenery. Visitors can relax in the sheltered picnic area or enjoy the sports fields available within the park. Additionally, the playground is a favorite for children, offering safe and engaging outdoor play. While restrooms are present, they are only accessible when a reservation is in place, making it important for visitors to plan accordingly.
