Mann Park

Mann (James) Park is a public park located in the Hegewisch community of Chicago, Illinois. Totaling 18.86 acres, the park offers a variety of recreational facilities and green spaces for visitors to enjoy. The park features two gymnasiums and an indoor swimming pool, providing opportunities for year-round physical activities.

A notable green feature of Mann Park is its Harvest Garden, which adds to the park's natural appeal. The outdoor areas of the park include seven ball fields, tennis courts, and a roller hockey court, catering to various sports enthusiasts.

Originally known as Hegewisch Park, it was renamed Mann Park in 1922 in honor of James R. Mann, who served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1897 until his death in 1922.
