Eugene Field Park

Eugene Field Park, located in the Albany Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, spans 18.94 acres along the North Branch of the Chicago River. The park is named after Eugene Field, a beloved children's poet and journalist. Established between 1923 and 1930, it features a Tudor Revival-style fieldhouse designed by Clarence Hatzfeld, which houses unique artistic elements like a mural titled *The Participation of Youth in the Realm of Fine Arts* and a portrait of Eugene Field, both restored in the early 2000s.

The park offers a mix of natural and recreational spaces. The Eugene Field Park Natural Area encompasses 8.5 acres of prairie, savanna, wet prairie, and wetland habitats.
