Bruiser Memorial Park

James Foster “Bruiser” Gaines Park, established in 1971, spans approximately 10 acres and is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis, Indiana. This park is named in honor of James Foster Gaines, affectionately called "Bruiser," who served as a respected officer in the Indianapolis Police Department for 27 years.
