Nixon Park

Nixon Park is a public recreational area located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Spanning 19.6 acres, the park offers a serene and scenic setting for visitors to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. The park is situated near Hiawatha on the city's northeast side, making it easily accessible to local residents and visitors alike.

One of the park's notable features is its 0.75-mile crushed limestone trail. This trail, known as the Nixon Park Trail, winds through the park and around Nixon School, providing a pleasant walking experience with very little grade change. The trail's smooth surface and minimal elevation changes make it suitable for users of various fitness levels.
