Eastern Avenue Park

Eastern Avenue Park is a 40-acre public park located at 2900 Eastern Avenue in Davenport, Iowa. The park is situated adjacent to Garfield Park, providing a significant green space in the eastern part of the city.

The park features a diverse landscape that includes open grassy areas, wooded sections, and a lagoon. A paved sidepath, just over a mile long, runs along the eastern edge of the park, suitable for walking, jogging, and biking. This path is part of the larger network of trails in the Quad Cities area.

One of the notable features of Eastern Avenue Park is its 18-hole disc golf course. The course is known for its length and relatively open layout, making it popular among disc golf enthusiasts. Two creeks run through the park, creating water hazards on several holes of the disc golf course, adding an extra challenge for players.

The park provides various recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages. In addition to disc golf and the walking path, the park includes picnic areas for families and groups to enjoy outdoor meals and gatherings.

Eastern Avenue Park is managed by the City of Davenport's Parks and Recreation Department, which maintains the facilities and ensures the park remains a welcoming space for community recreation and relaxation.
