River Heritage Park

River Heritage Park is a 5.5-acre public park located along East River Drive in Davenport, Iowa. The park offers scenic views of the Mississippi River and serves as a recreational space for both residents and visitors to the area.

The park features a paved recreation trail that connects to the larger trail system along the Davenport riverfront. This trail provides opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling while enjoying views of the river and surrounding landscape.

River Heritage Park includes open green spaces and a reservable shelter, making it suitable for picnics, gatherings, and community events. The shelter, however, does not have electricity available.

As part of ongoing development efforts, the City of Davenport has been working on expanding and enhancing River Heritage Park. Recent plans have included increasing the park's size to 7.5 acres and adding features to improve visitor experiences for those arriving by foot, bike, car, or river cruise lines.

The park's location along the Mississippi River makes it a prime spot for watching river traffic and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Its proximity to downtown Davenport also allows easy access for both locals and tourists exploring the city.
