Duncan Park

Duncan Park is a small urban green space located at 530 North Limestone Street in Lexington, Kentucky. The park is situated in a historic area that blends older residential neighborhoods and downtown Lexington's expanding urban landscape. Once part of the property on North Limestone acquired by William "Lord" Morton, a noted Lexington businessman, the area was transformed into a public park in 1913 after the city purchased the land. The historic Morton House, constructed in 1810, still stands within the park and currently serves as a city-operated recreation center.

This five-acre park is home to large, mature trees and offers a tranquil atmosphere amidst the bustling surroundings. The grounds are slightly elevated, providing picturesque views of the historic structures around it. The park's compact size does not limit its use; Duncan Park features a basketball court, playground equipment, and open green spaces suitable for various recreational activities.
