Milton J. Womack Park is a 20.5-acre recreational area located at 6201 Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Operated by BREC (Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge), the park serves as both a community hub and a center for administrative operations. It features a two-story building that accommodates both recreation facilities and BREC’s administrative offices.
The west side of the park is home to the Milton J. Womack Recreation Center, which includes a modern fitness center, an interactive recreation room, and rentable meeting spaces such as a large ballroom. This facility not only offers regular fitness activities but also serves as a venue for public meetings, including BREC's regular board meetings. On the east side of the park, the Eugene A. Young Administration Offices house various BREC departments, including those responsible for park operations, planning, and community programs.
The park's outdoor offerings include a walking track and unlighted multi-purpose fields, creating opportunities for exercise and leisure. Recent improvements, completed in 2018, added new lighted multi-use fields, bleachers, and restrooms. These updates also included enhanced infrastructure such as new paved parking areas and walkways, making the park more accessible. Milton J.
